tyre pressure ?
Hi,
the sticker with the tyre pressures seems to have vanished from my door pillar can anyone give me the pressures for my 2002 ST

So i take 40 is'nt the correct pressure but it won't do any harm ?

That,s what my book say,s 29 all round although i run 30 in the front and 29 in
the back all good so far.

tire pressure on sidewall means maximum pressure allowed when vehicle is a maximum load, it does not mean that is what you €are supposed to used.
If you do used that number then the tire will begin to where in the middle of the tire.
It is recommended to use what the manufacture states on the door. Granted if you do a lot of highway driving the tire does heat up and the pressure does deflate, so a couple of psi higher would not hurt the wear on the tire.
Another solution is to put in nitrogen instead of air in your tire to maintain better psi.
