I popped into ARB City (Tempe) last week and they showed me a new nudge bar for the X-Trail... When I was looking a few months back, they hadn't released it, but now it's out and it doesn't look too bad at all. nondisclosed_email@example.com (basshead)Sun, 30 May 2004 16:21:11 +0000 The bits are coming!!!https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p867151,from=rss#post867151https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p867151,from=rss#post867151Not sure if anyone reads 4WD Monthly but July's edition (I know its still may)has a write up about extra bits for xtrails. Although the article is very much a repeat of one in 4x4 Australia a few months back. The article talks about fitting a Howling Moon Rooftop tank, storage drawers and water tank. Although there is no mention of how you would get to your spare tyre. The new and interesting things are: 1. Long range Automotive Aux 50L fuel tank for about $1500. A little pricy - my aux tank for the GQ is $1250, but I suppose its a supply and demand thing. 2. Piranha Dual battery kit, using a 8 inch battery tray. The Piranha battery is only 40AH, You could pick up a 50 AH battery from Battery World which can give you an extra few hours for the fridge. (my patrol is a unique model in that you can only install a 8 inch tray as well (unlike the normal 12) and after heaps of research the best we can find is a 50AH. Anyway the kit installed is about $850. These are good signs that there is a developing aftermarket. nondisclosed_email@example.com (petersxtrail)Fri, 28 May 2004 21:50:24 +0000
