Re:

Hi All.

I buy a scanner Launch creader VIII and it works in my t31 2009 CVT 4wd. It reads a lot of sensors, ABS, CVT, Steering reset, Air Bag.
During first test return 5 errors in the CVT box.
Most are "past" errors. So I suppose they are old and I dont need to be concern.

Can You guys give opinions about the errors?

I also intend to create a specific post to do all possible tests with this scanner in my petrol t31 2.0 4wd cvt. Good idea?

Re:

I think you can just scroll thru the menus and you should find "clear" previous Errors or Codes, something similar to that then just clear them and run the diagnostics again to see if any codes re-appear, if they do, then you still have issues. Normally any mechanic that has a code reader should clear any error codes once they have performed the repairs.

Re: Re:ECU Reader

Hi, check the software you are using with your car. Try HobDrive, Econ Tool Scoba, Nissan Gauge or Car Gauge Pro. Those are the ones compatible with the non-OBD T30s. Mine has the same problem, since it is a 2008 model but I think the standard was not mandatory in Latin America.

Does anyone have any advice on the OBDII bluetooth adaptors or the scan tools?

I want to buy either one of the bluetooth adaptors and get an app for my iPhone, or buy the scanner tool itself.

I've just read a bit about how the bluetooth adaptors are not all made the same, so seeking some advice.

Dave.

Hi Dave,
I have moved your post to an existing thread on this topic.
Please use the site search to find existing threads rather than starting a new topic to minimise the fragmentation of information on the site.

Re: Nissan Consult & ECU Readers

Just purchased a Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+ Bluetooth 4.0 OBD2 scanner code reader and tried it out on my T31. Worked first time using an Android phone. A bit more fiddly with my iOS device.

Apps I've tried with it so far are free versions of:
Car Scanner ELM OBD2
Dashcommand
OBD Auto Doctor

Yet to give OBD Fusion App a try as it's not free, but people seem to like it. So far Dashcommand seems to do everything I want (and more that I don't understand), so might upgrade to the paid version.
