Re: Re:

Hello.
Okay, good information. emoticon

Several other questions.

1) Does this reset also clear DTC codes (operating defaults). ?.

2) Why disconnecting the battery (24h) does not have the same reset effect. ?

Ok, sorry, i read the other post from Nordic x regarding the failure on DPF regeneration.
Dismantling, cleaning the EGR valve ?.
Is there a link between DTC code P2A00 and MAF ?.

Change the Air/fuel ratio sensor and advance in the diagnosis.

Re: X Trail Forum UK Members? PDF from UK site needed.

Quick update:
Diagnostics guy had a look at it and told me my DPF is not clogged at all. Told me DPF differential ressure was something around 1 milibar. He thought it was the a/f (o2) sensor that caused all this. They replaced the O2 sensor but the DPF error code didnt disapear and could not be deleted. So they went ahead an did a forced regen..... not too happy about it since it wasnt neccesary. This cleared the DPF Error.

I changed the oil and filter and while reading through the service manual discovered that the "Air Fuel Ratio Sensor Learning Value Clear" should be performed after the a/f sensor or the ECM has been replaced. Otherwise the DPF burns won't happen when they should.

Is this absolutely neccessary? Or will the ECM self adjust after a few days (like with a new air filter)? Is there a way to reset that learning value yourself?
