P1525-f3

Hello.

I own a 2009 Nissan X-Trail to date 240,000 km.
It went into degraded mode, unable to exceed 3000rpm and steady orange MIL light on the instrument panel.

I scanned for faults.
Result
P0235-64
P1525-f3

After finding and correcting a connection fault on the turbo charger boost sensor,
the degraded mode has disappeared and the vehicle is operating normally and I can therefore accelerate above 3000 rpm.

So I removed the amber MIL light and everything seems to be fine with the engine running.
But the associated fault P1525 cruise control is still confirmed and I was not able to remove it with my software (ODBfacile).

Which software would be able to reset P1525 on the ECU which manages the cruise control ? . emoticon
It must be another protocol?

Thank you.

Hi !.

P1525-f3
Cruise control / adaptive speed limiter switch - Incorrect data provided

It is possible that a voltage return fault on the regulator contactor is the cause of the problem.
Very good informative video. emoticon

Re: P1525-f3

It's also possible that the cruise control error code apeared because of the turbo error code.
Does the cruise control work or does it just blink? As I understand, certain error codes and the MIL light cause the cruise control error.

Try deleting the error code with Torque lite/Pro or OBD Mary.

Hello.

No, I have not tried to operate the cruise control.
In fact, I have never used it since I own this vehicle.
I have to try the cruise control on the motorway because at home, the roads are too narrow and too short.

Indeed, the fault code P1525 may be associated with the failure of the pressure sensor on the intake (for consistency and safety).
Resetting the computer can also be a solution to clear the P1525 code.
I asked the question by email to Nissan where I am having the X-Trail T 31 serviced, but so far no answer. emoticon

If I have an answer to resolve this issue, I will come back here to inform.

I too have the error code P1525 because of an oxygen sensor issue. No harm in trying to delete it. If the cause is not resolved, it will just come back right away.

Re: P1525-f3

Ok !.

yes, they are associated fault codes.
But I started to perform the procedure in the Manual. (ECR-192 "Description").
And after applying the procedure, I found in the scan the DTC code P0564.
P0564-29
Régulateur de vitesse, signal d'entrée A du contacteur multifonction - panne du circuit
Statut du code défaut
Le code défaut est confirmé

Cruise control, multifunction switch input signal A - circuit fault
Fault code status
The fault code is confirmed

So I have to perform the other checking procedures.
Check ground E17 and after the others.
I have already restored my Ground to perfect contact on the vehicle.

I have been testing the cruise control and have seen that all the controls work perfectly.
So it's good for using cruise control.
I will see soon if I can erase the stored / confirmed fault codes.
