Re:
Get a battery pack or second battery. The fridge will drain your starter battery overnight. I won't keep the car at ACC for long too.
Check the gadget review section for reviews of the ArkPak. There are a few other brands and non brands out there too

Re:
I ran a Waeco 50l fridge the standard battery for well over 2 days without any problems starting.
The only way you can do this is as written above.
A second battery, a portable battery pack or re wire so there is constant power to the back.
You could also use your spare key to lock the doors from the outside if you like.
There are threads regarding dual batteries and wiring up constant power so please use the search function.

Consider yourself very lucky. Starter batteries don't like that sort of use.
If the battery does draw down too far to start the vehicle, it causes damage to the battery (especially is it runs flat) and will never fully recharge again. Over time it will kill the battery prematurely.

Re:
Hi Charlie,
The Waeco has a feature built into it where you have a 3 position switch that can cut the fridge power at so that the battery will always have enough juice to start the car.

Re:
I'm just going down this track myself and have just purchased the Ark powerpack box and have the 105Ah battery and 120W solar panels. According to the Arkpak manual, a 130Ah battery should be able to run a 40l waeco for 6 days.
We're heading out camping for a four day weekend starting on Friday, so I'm keen to see how our setup goes.

Hi, was wondering how the panels went?
I have an ARKPAK that I run my fridge (60L) from (the only electrical device I have), and haven't need the panels, as normally move on after two nights, or at least run a trail, so the alternator charged the ARk without issue.
Planning on longer "stays" in the future, and further out, so running as freezer.
Only have a 95A battery, but know can't have too much solar power.
Thanks
