MAP SENSOR

Hi All,
Does the T31 Series 1V, QR25DE engine have a MAP sensor? I can only find the MAF sensor and the vacuum solenoid on my X-Trail. If so, where is it located.
Thanks

Hi

Never looked at the T31 but from what I understand the MAF sensor stands for Mass Air Flow - and is always just after the motor intake Air Filter - usually a removable block or tube - if you remove the air filter you should be able to see it in the tube after the filter, sometimes - often - they get a bit dirty and a carbie cleaner will remove the dirt.
Most these days comprise of two resistors that get heated - air flow is measured by how much current is required to keep one of them hot..
Some cars also have pressure sensors to measure your altitude but no idea if this is used in the T31.
