Interior blower fan speed problem. Only speed setting #4 works

My interior fan has decided only to work on speed setting #4. Its flat out or nothing.
I just wanted to know before i go through the long process of troubleshooting from a new dashboard speed controller to a new fan, if anyone may have been through this or have an idea of why or suggestion of where to start troubleshooting.

Hi Jeff,

If you use the site search function with "Fan Speed Controller" you will find previous posts about how this could be a melted or shorted fan speed resistor switch.

Depending on if you have the ST with a switch for speed control or the Ti with climate control, you should be needing to replace either the switch or a speed controller module.

Re: Interior blower fan speed problem. Only speed setting #4 works

 Hi
Not sure about t31 but my T30 ti had same issue and I replaced the blower fan resistor .

Really easy to change on T30. Remove passenger glovebox door and look up under dash and its held in by 2 screws.

I paid $40 on eBay

Cheers
