Re: Removing X-Trail T32 Side Skirts
The side skirts turned out to be not all that difficult to remove - after removing the 8 or so 10mm head screws along the bottom, and the couple of Torx screws at the front mudflap, the side skirts popped off working from one end to the other.
The wheel arches were quite a trick, with the arch popping off fairly freely on one side up to the 12 o'clock position, and refusing to yield any further.
The remaining white rectangle head clips will break before un-popping from the body, and the only way I found to further remove the wheel arch was to 'gently' pull to disengage the lower attached end from the side skirt end, and at the same time rotate the complete wheel arch 25mm in that direction. The 4 or 5 white rectangle head clips can then be manually removed from the body with small screwdrivers from either side under the head recesses in the clips.
