Re: Storing an exy for 2 months
I had mine sitting longer than that while replacing all the shocks and getting the pinion bearing and seal replaced.
All I did was disconnect the battery so that it would not drain flat.
Started up all OK afterwards but let it idle until warm before touching the accelerator.

Re: Storing an exy for 2 monoths
Thanks Kev,
The last time I left it for this long, the battery drained and killed itself dead (It was a dodgy battery anyways and I did not disconnect it). After jump starting to drive it the 250 km's home, I had all sorts of issues (mostly very erratic idling). I ended up having the reset the idle air volume, throttle position etc, a very painful process sitting there and pressing pedals like a fool.
I figured it may have been caused by the ECU being reset after not having power for such a long time (or perhaps the extra juice from the jump starts wiped it out?
I'll try disconnecting the battery this time, but I hope I don't end up losing all ECU settings and have to repeat the re-learn procedures...
Cheers!
