Re: Xtrail Snorkel
That's quite a nice fit for a T31 Ray, well done.

Re: snorkel to suit t31 t/d
I find it amusing that the R50 Pathfinder guys have the same problem trying to find decent snorkels and the D22 snorkel is one of the chosen options there too!
Oh, and they have to cut the crumple zone too, its just monocoque chassis cars I reckon. Lot of Pathy guys wont put a snorkel on because of that, and the only catalog R50 snorkel avail (Airflow) says they have Nissan's blessing that it won't hurt the crash properties....

Re: Xtrail Snorkel
The snorkel in your pic is the Terios one.
So is the recommended one for the T30 Xtrail.
The snorkel Ray fitted to his T31 is not the Terios one as you will see from his pics that the "foot" along the front cowling is much longer.

Re: Xtrail Snorkel
Ray fitted the D22 to his T31 and if you google the D40 and look at it you will see the foot is shorter.
This isn't to say neither the D22 or the D40 will not fit the T30, it just means you will have to place it along side with the front cowling removed to see where the pipe will cut through to enter the wheel arch and make sure there are no structural sections in the way you will not be able to cut.
