A ford guy with a japanese car with a french engine

Hi all,
I have owned my x trail for 6 years or so...2009 T31 Diesel auto...TS I think. I have just clicked over the 100km milestone and while I have had no trouble todate just seeing what to expect or do I need to update...or are there mods that I should do. I have always had the oil on the air filter issue and have never addressed it except installed KN air filter...bit concerned about potential egr valve failure. I average 8.3L per 100km fuel economy and get as low as 7.2L per 100km on trips. I dont know how that compares. Anyway I live in Brisbane. Feel free to drop me a line...I am not much of a poster type of guy.
