The rattle is caused by the number plate bouncing against the tailgate, so try and secure the number plate a bit more firmly and the rattle will go away

Maybe it's not the tailgate that's rattling after all. A loose rear seat pull pin on the side of the rear seat can cause that rattle sound too, so check that out
Failing that you will have to remove the tailgate lining to have a look at what has come loose.
