Re: 2004 T30 ATF Change - Is Nissan NS-2 CVT Fluid compatible with MATIC J?
If they gave you NS-2 CVT fluid for ATF pricing, I'll pay you what they charged you, plus postage, and buy you a drink too. I need 7L of the stuff for the Jatco CVT7 gearbox in my g/f's Swift and I'm looking at nearly $200 'trade'!
But NO! Do NOT put (Green?) CVT fluid in a standard auto.
Your T30 auto should take just standard DexIII auto fluid. Nulon, Castrol, anything will do, unlike the CVT gearboxes which DO need specific fluid (Suzuki 'CVT Green', Nissan NS-2, etc).
--- 2004 T30 series II, Ti (now sold)
JRR50 Pathfinder, QD32ETi Turbo Diesel, with 'lots o fruit'.
2012 Jeep Cherokee KK CRD Limited is current ride.
Will be looking for a white or silver 2011-2013 T31 TL (Diesel) to "pimp out".

Re: 2004 T30 ATF Change - Is Nissan NS-2 CVT Fluid compatible with MATIC J?
I missed the SouthAfrican part in your sig block...it's "Dangerous Goods", road freight only. Would cost both yours and my houses to ship to Australia!
But you should be able to get rid of it easily well above the price you paid for it.
Anything with a Jatco CVT7/JF015E, and there's 10 million of them out there now.
Scroll to the bottom of the page I link to above, the main models with a CVT7 are listed at the bottom of the page.
