Coolant evaporating, no leaks Cam, Crank & Throttle Body changed - Car shudders ! Help!!!

Hi members. I have a 2.5ltr auto Xtrail 2004. We recently had serviced new cam and crank shaft replaced as car wouldn't start had to be towed to mechanic had P0340 and P0011. Code came back on again within 3 days. Problem starting again like shuddering when turn key as if it was chocking and coolant was losing even before changing the cam and crank and was just evaporating. Still is from near Max to short trip down to nothing. Engine light on, it's not overheating and mechanic had pressure test no leaks or air.... After any ideas as this is already expensive issue remaining unresolved!! The mechanic checked the other day engin code pointed back to P0340 I think it was. He checked the coil plugs x 4... 2 were wet. He swapped over 2 which cleared it but again its returned another engin light. He said to jiggle them to see if loose wire but it's made no difference... Help and ideas as I can't find a solution on previous posts with a same condition., thanks

If the plugs are wet and you are losing coolant then there must be a head gasket leak.
Was the compression test done cold or hot ?
With the codes you were getting, did the mechanic replace the cam and crank sensors with the cam and crank shafts or just the shafts on their own ?

Thanks for your reply! I believe the check for leaks was done warm/hot engin as my husband just arrived to mechanics. And both sensors were changed. Hope that helps !

Yep sounds like head gasket to me.. Just had mine replaced. Engine was running rough very intermittently.

pressure test was all ok only sign was hard to start usually after being driven for a while,
spark plugs were wet and only losing about 250 ml of coolant a week initially.
best price I got in Perth was $3400.
