2004 NT30 immobiliser help

I have a NT30 from Japan. It has a 2.0 petrol engine and automatic transmission.

I would like to seek help concerning the immobiliser on the X-Trail (not sure if mine from Japan has it though)
How can I know or maybe check that my X-Trail has or doesn't have an immobiliser? The exy came with two keys. One with a lock and unlock button on it. The other is a plain all metal key. Both keys are able to start the engine without any problem. And, I should mention that the security indicator light on the dashboard is always off.

Thanks in advance.

Re:

If your car can be started with the plain all metal key this means it doesn't have an immobilizer in it, as the immobilizer only allows for keys that are chipped and programmed with the car ECU to start it.
