gauge illumination

I just had the exy serviced and an oil cooler replaced. Our a/c blower has been squeaking for a while and so I had them check it out, they recon $330 installed for 2nd hand and around $900 for new.
Anyway, I didn't notice the issue straight away but it seems like they may have a plug around the wrong way as the little trip computer light is now on when my lights are off and is off when the lights are on. The gauges are not lighting up at all either.

Are the wires easy to get to and flip?
If someone could point me to where I need to look in the manual (as I couldn't find it) or provide pics would be great.
I tried the search here and have not found exactly what I need, but I do now have a few new projects emoticon

HELP!

thanks.

Re: gauge illumination

The issue was that the brightness was turned right down with the little knob in the right. I guess it reset when they pulled the dash apart to get to the blower.
