Re: Fuel filter
Ok, so I cleaned the sock strainer at the base of the pump and drained both sides of the fuel tank. The strainer looked clean and there was nothing at the bottom of the tank. I also gave the sparkplugs a wipe and brush with petrol, but they also looked good for their klms. I have refilled the tank twice now with Shell 98. Could the cam, crank or maybe the O2 sensor be playing up, causing the original problem without leaving a code?
The car is running fine now, but I wouldn't want it to play up again, especially out on a track somewhere.
BTW, the engine temp was normal when it was playing up.
Does anyone have any thoughts?

Re: Fuel filter
As mentioned earlier, just keep a nose out for petrol smell after you fill it up as this would indicate the seal is not installed correctly.
