Re:

Excellent. Hi-Tech told me last week that they have also fitted a full exhaust system including the extractors and high flow cat converter to a T31 2WD X-Trail but they haven't performed a before and after dyno run, so they can't tell the benefits. I spoke to the owner and he tells he's very happy with it and can feel more power especially going uphill as his cruise control used to disengage due to load, now it just goes up that same hill smoothly.

I'd be very interested in your review and please ask them to take photos of the installation and the dyno runs.

At the dyno place the Xtrail went in lock down mode had to run up the spear key on friday hopping all good for monday pick up at 5 o;clock. The boys have to make up new set of extractors so to have them ceramic coated. the boys have taken photos and at the dyno shop. full report later emoticon

Re: Hi-Tech Cat. Back System (T31 CVT Petrol)

just found out. can not have the full upgrade on the t31 xtrail only the cat back system due to you can not tune the full system as there is no pigyback system available at this time. as the boys from the dnyo shop has been on the phone all over the world trying to work out to tune the xtrail. 2012 t31 xtrial has any body got any idea,s thanks stockze

Re:

Yeah mate, they just called me and told me the bad news as well. Apparently the ECU chip being used in our Chinese made Bosch ECU doesn't allow any re-programming or piggy backing and it's the same case in Europe as well.

That's a major show-stopper for the T31 in terms of the full system upgrade.

Re: Hi-Tech Cat. Back System (T31 CVT Petrol)

Met Nicholas at Maccas at Heathcote to swap cars saved me a,lot of time. The Xtrail looks great with twin tale pipes and the sound is sweet . Just like to say how great the boys from Hitech are for looking after me for all the work boys put in including making the extractors then stripping then replacing the standard ones back on, Just like to say thank you to Nicholas from Hitech Mufflers and Gary from Hitech Auto Electrical for the lone car. Figures for my standard xtrail are '' MAX '' TORQUE= 308.3NM @80 KPH POWER=100.6 HP@106 KPH MOTIVE FORCE =637.5LB @ 80KPH good or normal or bad Have a dyno test soon. Take the caravan up MT Ousley on sunday see how it goes .
