Re: Hi man, No not as yet but a bloke at work who goes Dirtbiking loaned me the Boiling Billy Publications, 4wd Treks close to Sydney book and I spent most of last week mapping out the Treks on Google Earth and making my own notes etc of Turn-offs, Junctions, Water Crossings, Campsites and Facilities.... As well as Closets Fuel and Next Available Fuel and total Km's etc.
Also noted which ones can link up and did the calculations as to whether could make 2 or so of them linked on the one tank of Fuel.
The only ones from the Book I have done are Caves to Caves and the Kings Tableland Trek which I am gonna do again because when I did it was about 11pm and could not see anything from the lookout.
Re: 6 Foot Track We did the 6ft track on Sunday , including the side trip down to Cox's river and walked down to the bridge. Its easy to do at the moment. Standard Xtrails, no problem. There were three creek crossings, but all the mud holes were dry. Allow yourself a full day to do the full track with an early start, especially if your coming from Sydney and going down to the bridge. Next time we go there we'll be trying the Mini Mini road trail and the Kanangra Boyd NP.
