6 Foot Track

hey all
got the opportunity to take my wife and kids down to cox river for the day 2 weeks ago .we started the 6 foot track at little hartley and finished jenolan caves rd.
i absolutely love this part of the world . For those who havent done this drive its a fairly easy drive which took about 3 hrs of driving pluss the stop at coxs river.
There was a little bit of mud but nothing to worry about and a few gates for the kids to open and some water crossings to.
here is a vid ( first one from my exy ) i took with my go pro
( excuse the shakiness on the swinging bridge but was trying to hold on to camera , the wire rope and carry my daughter across)
hope you enjoy

Re: 6 Foot Track

Great vid. Looks like an enjoyable day trip for a picnic and for all stock standard exys.
Looks like many side roads/junctions. What map did you use....or GPS.

cheers

Re: 6 Foot Track

Go to see you getting out there, I have all so dune the six foot track. It was about 18 months ago, I all so found it in 4wd tracks close to sydney. My wife and I enjoyed this track this was one of our first good tracks we have done. We have done 8 in all from this book and find it easy to use.

Re: 6 Foot Track

That looks like a really nice trip!
It's a beautiful part of the world. My family used to camp at a property out near Rockley when we lived down south. So many fond memories.
I'll have to check out that track whenever I make my way back down there next.

Re:

Another one that is on my list from that book

You know you can also then do the first half of the Gibraltar Rocks Trek, the last part of that is just the last half of 6ft Track so I'd just re=do the 1st half of 6ft Track in reverse direction
