Maximum Tyre Diameter

Hi Guys,

Looking at tyre and rim options for off road.

What is the maximum tyre diameter that will fit on a T31 for off road use.

Would 750mm tyres fit without rubbing on the guards, suspension ect?

Re: Maximum Tyre Diameter

Check the tyre placard on your vehicle and the guidelines for tyre and wheel increases in your state, this will give you the size you can legally upgrade to.

Re: Maximum Tyre Diameter

Please explain what you mean by "750mm tyres".
Usually tyres are defined by width/profile/rim sizing such as the standard 215/60/17.
If you have measured the diameter of tyres on someone else's car then you should look at the information on the side of the tyre to get the width/profile/rim information to help us to know.

Re:

True for passenger tyres.

I used diameter as it is key to what I am trying to achieve and with off road tyres they are often defined by diameter in mm or inches ie 31" 33" 35" 37" ect.

If it makes it easier for you would 225/70R17 or 225/75R17 fit?

Re: Maximum Tyre Diameter

225/70 R17 might just fit (around 745mm height).
The problem can be that tire will rub into front strut spring "holder plate"

235/65 R17 fit fine (around 735mm height)
