Re: What series is my X-Trail?

Hi dlpeek

Sorry about the stuff up, new to the forum. Have added some details to my signature.

AS you can now see mines a 2003 model (before the change) so wondering if a 2004 would fit the older ST T30 type or if there were changes to body that means tail light wont fit.

Cheers for the help guys

Yes, all T30 model tail-lights are interchangeable with no problems at all.

Hi Guys,

I am also struggling to work out which model I have emoticon All the links that I try to open are either broken or don't exist. Help.

All I know its a T30 2004 model. With the QR25DE Petrol motor.

Re:

Hi Peter,

If it's 2004, it'd be T30 Series II

You can tell by looking at the reflectors in the rear bumper, they would be round reflectors compared to the rectangular ones of the Series I

As to how to post photos on the forum, we have added links as part of the welcome post when you joined the forum, one of them was a link to the site navigation & guides which will be a useful reference for you to bookmark, check it out HERE

Hope this help emoticon

Re: What series is my X Trail?

I'm also curious about this. My car is a T31, built Dec. 2012. Poking around on Wikipedia, I found that it may be a 2012 face lift model. I've only had it a very short while, and must say, I just love it.

Re: What series is my X-Trail?

So,...can anyone explain this...
Image
Selling 2004 Nissan X-Trail T30 4x4 4 Speed Auto.
Only 176,000 KM with full service history.

Im thinking of asking for the VIN so I can punch it into FAST and verify. Just pisses me off as I sold mine for $1000 less, if they are misrepresenting this car as a 2004 Series II, and its not even a Ti either.

Even the Government website says it's a 08/2004 model:
Vehicle Details of 2004 NISSAN XTRAIL
Plate Number: YMR78Q
Vehicle Make: NISSAN
Model: XTRAIL
Colour: Silver
Manufacture Month/Year: 08/2004
VIN / Chassis Number (last 4 characters): 1487
Engine Number (last 4 characters): 292A
Tare Mass: 1455
Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM): 2000
Stolen VIN? (Y/N): N

Re: What series is my X-Trail?

As far as I remember the only external differences between the Series 1 and Series 2 which were not interchangeable were the front bumper and grill. The front bumper being different also meant the nudge bar was different for the Series 2 because of the profile it had to fit around.

The rear bumper was physically the same but with different reflectors so my guess is that they have put a Series 1 rear bumper onto a Series 2 as a replacement themselves probably due to some scrapes or dents.

Re: What series is my X-Trail?

That was the only explanation I came up with earlier today too....
And I think its a Ti too, fog lights, 6x CD stacker, cruise, climate control, seat trim.
Which means both rear bumper and tailgate have been replaced...
Buyer beware, huh! emoticon
