Re:
Are you referring to the Motorage Skid Plates? If so, these are not bash plates, they're just aluminium skid plates which don't cover a wide undercarriage area.
Oh, and the price is $600 US Dollars each!

Re: bash plates
I can't comment on the quality as I have never used them. What assistance are you after? If the quality is in question is it worth it. Buy once buy right

I,m just looking for a bit of assistance for beach/sand driving
I,m not looking to do any heavy duty off road stuff, just thought these may suit my purpose.
is the quality no good or is it that they dont cover enough of an area?
Hi Bruce,
Am not sure how you're coming up with this total because I am getting a total of $878.00 Aussies Dollars for the front (3mm) and rear including shipping to Australia.
In any case, I am pretty sure the quality will be beyond question or doubt as Motorage is a pretty reputable company in Japan, my point however is that the front skid plate is not designed to cover enough of the under-carriage, so it won't give you enough protection for the most expensive bits under the engine bay especially the oil sump.
For $500 bucks more you might as well grab the full set of bash plates that provides the needed protection in any type of environment including street and light off-roading. That is the point am trying to make, but the final decision will be yours of course.

Re: bash plates
Thanks Jalal.
Looks like this one is the front plate Front skid and would be delivered for around $350. Having previously owned TJM alloy front plate which cost less than $300 you may as well buy that instead. In saying that the alloy plate really doesn't protect that well. Better than nothing sure but steel plate wins.
Alloy plate may well be sufficient for the rear though.
Strangely it looks like it's cheaper to ship each plate separately rather than combined.

Re:
Sorry Todd, not sure where you are getting this price from, as the front skid plate (the 3mm one) is clearly marked at USD$ 427.68 and shipping to Australia by EMS is USD$155.40 (total of USD$ 583.08) just for the front skid plate.
The one you linked to is a different 2mm alluminium type.
Regardless of that, what you suggested is correct, having something is better than nothing and it certainly beats the piece of plastic that is there.

Re:
Yep, all prices are in US Dollars and that big front bash plate which Todd mentioned is an MTO item (made to order) so God knows how long you will be waiting for it to be made.
