Re: Street to Mud Pig

Looks good. I hope it's an auto. Those larger tyres will sap some of your power.
Well done on getting the biggest tyres I've ever seen on an Exy.

Love your work Jimmy.
Obviously handy having a bender available for all that metal work.
Are those Patrol rims?

Re:

Thanks guys,
Naa its a manual, had to go through the drama of putting a new clutch in it when i first got it. But still not too bad for power. But obviously still slower haha.

No they're Ford Territory steel rims, i have had them on my 2wd hilux in the past. Roughly a +38 offset. So using that as a guide and and my 22's were a +40 i could work it out.

Anyone interested in wheels, you can do some awesome research with www.willtheyfit.com haha emoticon

You bloody legend!! It's about time someone went this far with an exy. Brilliant work mate, definitely a one of a kind vehicle now. And good to see I'm not the only one willing to take a grinder to their xtrail haha.

Re: Street to Mud Pig

Haha thanks mate. I saw your build up and got some great ideas then wanted to see how far I could go with it. Yeah I think every one of my cars has been treated to a grinder and fab work emoticon

Have been looking at a set of 10-20mm wheel spacers to get the wheels to stick out a bit more for clearance on the inside, seeing as the wheels are still sitting inside the guard. Don't mind the look of the wider wheel track either haha
