Re: the cramped nature of the back 2 seats, the "Middle row" seats are adjustable so you can buy your back row passengers a little leg room at the expense of the middle row. Just make sure the seats are all locked in position before you drive off or expect a yell of complaint from the back row!

Having the 3rd 12V socket in the back to power the kids DVD players will be a godsend!

This dash looks just like our older T31, exactly.

Have you had the older model T31? can you compare the boot space between the two and also the back seat space/leg-room. Do the back seats recline like in the t31, I find that really good.

I also can't figure out the t32 boot shelf/space. the t31 has drawers which I find really good as we don't have to remove things from the boot to get to some items. Is that how the t32 works as well?

I like the t32 but don't want to give up some things.

The T32 has much smaller boot space mate.

Cargo Area is rated to carry a maximum load of 550L which is less than both the previous T31 (603L) and T30 (827L)....Source (Nissan Japan Website)

thanks. not a massive difference between out t31. I didn't realise the t30 was that much bigger as the vehicle seems smaller when I have been a passenger.

Do you have a link for the boot space figures? T31 is definitely bigger than both T30 and T32 (with the rear overhang being the unfortunate proof). Perhaps the T30 figures are for 'seats down' as 827L is an absolutely massive figure (either that or they are measuring to the roof, and not doing that for T31 figures)!

Hi guys

Went from 3000 to 5000 in October...

Road trip from Newcastle to Canberra with 4 adults and 2 kids. A little bit of juggling, putting the taller kid behind a shorter adult and adjusting the position of the middle row seats and we managed the drive without complaints from any passenger (besides "Are we there yet").

Taking that many passengers plus luggage necessitated a roof box on the roof. Annoyingly, the positions of the roof rack mounting points means that you can't open the tail-gate while my roof box is on. If we could remove the spoiler it would probably solve this! I could get a different shape roof box but for the minimal use it will get we went with the ALDI solution.

With 6 people plus roof box it really sounds like its struggling when you accelerate on freeway. First time I've heard the tortured hair dryer sound from the CVT.

Worryingly the air con crapped out on an extended run from Canberra to Sydney. I was back to normal at start of next leg so was probably a software glitch but was not much fun.

I'm up over 22,000klm now and still no issues other than the radio occasionally locking up because of my iPhone5. Still loving it but still can't get used to that poxy foot handbrake thing, that's a real muck up on Nissan's part I reckon because even the reviewers bag it. I'm so used to the gadgets now I hate having to drive my wife's ASX haha

Just as a follow up on my last post. I've been running it on BP Ultimate 98 and it gets a lot more klm per tank.

This photo is after a 75klm drive to work, at the speed limit on highway, mostly flat.

The overall economy since I brought it is running at 7.2 ltrs per 100klm. There has been quite a bit of city and stop start traffic included in that, plus towing the trailer around a bit as well. I certainly cannot complain about the economy, it is better than my last diesel!

Please feel free to start a new T32 Fuel Economy thread in the Fuel & Oil section of the forum where all T32 owners can exchange views on how to improve the fuel economy or just to compare the fuel consumption between the different T32 models.
