new xtrail questions So got a new xtrail and I'm really happy with the vehicle, great drive and built quality.
I also have the sound system issue that others are suffering, took it to the dealer, they said they are aware of the issues and there should be a fix/update available soon. At least they seem to be aware and working on it. While on the stereo does anyone out there know the speaker size for front and rear doors? Can't find specs anywhere in owners manual or on the net.
The most annoying thing so far is that when I cycle through my DAB stations via steering wheel control it goes through the whole list and not just my presets is there any way to.fix this? also the stereo can't find my favourite DAB station all the others work but for edge FM it says station currently unavailable.
I have twice also had the proximity key ID not recognised but as it says in the manual I held key to start button and can then start as normal. I suppose could have been some interference but still not great shouldn't be doing it in my opinion. Anyone else suffered this?
I have also had the car do a very quiet beep.from under the hood once when I was washing it and the after I filled up, not sure what that's about and neither was Nissan.
Overall I love the car but maybe Nissan released a bit early few too many bugs for a new car even though it's fist series...
To program DAB station as presets, just tune station you want and then hold down 1,2 etc on the touch screen until it beeps. I have an ST-L not sure on other models.
I have had that beep I often lock the car while its on and walk inside or something. This was different the car was off all doors closed, lights off, couldn't see any reason why it would be beeping. It was a really low volume and strength, could barely heard it when I was outside and wondered where it was coming from.
