Hi Guys,

I have moved this thread to the section of the forum it belongs to.

Please start getting used to placing the questions and threads in their corresponding sections of the forum and always apend the thread title with "T32" if you are asking a question that specific to the T32 Exy.

Please also don't talk about the whole accessories of the world in one thread, as it will make finding information for future members an impossible task.

Finally, please be mindful of the links you post on the forum, as we have a forum rule against linking to auction sites....etc

It is much better to post a photo of the accessory in question and describe it to other members.

Re:

I went to Clark Rubber and got a product called something along the lines of safety matting. Its a thin sheet of rubber, low in smell and has a fibre type middle layer. All up its about 4 mm thick. I have previsouly used this stuff in my Jazz for 3 years and in all that time of the dog wandering around on it, there are no punctures nor any real damage. So when I got my T32, I just got some more, I cut it so that the edges are up a bit to control the dog hair spreading too far. There is also a bit of a flap that I can throw out over the bumper to avoid the dog pancaking into the ground on the slippery plastic (and to avoid scratches).

It was about $20 a metre but well worth it.

Re: Re:

I went even cheaper and went to a carpet off-cut place.

Bought a full size, cut to shape, colour matched, grey carpet to fit the dropped rear seat - panel van configuration for about $40 fitted (from inexact memory).

Laughing. Particularly when the dog leans over to lick my ear to show how much he appreciates the extra spaceemoticon

Re: Boot Liner to stop sliding cargo

Hi everyone:
I bought a rear rubber cargo mat from Supercheap ($36.00) to stop things sliding around & cut it to fit. It didn't work. A mate of mine with a Forester had the same problem.

So I bought a cheap cargo net (less than $15 incl postage off ebay) - it fits perfectly but if you carry objects of different sizes the smaller things still slide around under it and make a racket.

So I was in the Reject shop the other day and saw this big roll of black anti-slip matting - the thicker grade with all the perforations in it. The roll cost me $17.00 and its wide/long enough to line the whole cargo bay, even with the seats down. You can buy smaller rolls of it for about $2 but its too thin. I actually used the thinner stuff first and it worked really well to stop gear sliding. Well the thicker stuff WORKS A TREAT!! It doesn't bunch up too easily (it stays put) and it sticks to my rubber liner like sh*t to a blanke. Nothing will slide on it with normal cornering. Add a cargo net for off-road jaunts and Bingo - a quiet well behaved cargo bay at last.

I've tried everything and this is the only thing that makes a difference. But I haven't tried directly on the slippery rear cargo floor (without my rubber liner between). I'll try this and keep you posted. If it works I'm gonna be kicking myself for wasting $$ on a rubber mat from supercheap.
