Roof Bars
quote: DogTrail wrote:
I do need to ask.
Wen you are carrying the bars, do you factor in the added wind resistence into fuel usage?
Other question: Does it feel better when the bars are not on?
Leaving your roof bars on won't noticeably affect fuel your economy.
If you consider for a moment the frontal surface area of a T31, the slope of the windscreen, location of roof bar mounting points and the shape of a Whispbar/Genuine Nissan Roof Bar, basic physics dictates that wind resistance is so negligible, that any fuel economy fluctuations detected would be the result driving style or terrain rather than the presence of a roof bar being on a vehicle!
