T31 roof rail inserts

Hi all,

I'm after some information on where I can purchase cheaply the 4 inserts for the roof rails. I purchased the car thinking I wouldn't need them because I planned to stick Prorack Whispbars on top, but turns out i need the inserts/fillers for the racks.

I contacted nissan and they quoted me $30 each, which is bloody steep imo! Alternatively, if anyone has any laying around that I could purchase off you that would be awesome.

Thanks!

Re: T31 roof rail inserts

That's the going rate sadly. I believe they may cross over with parts from an R51 Pathfinder so your other option would be to find a wrecker. Part numbers are 73154H, 73155H, 73154F & 73155F.

I could never work out the correct part numbers for Amayama. A wrecker would be your best bet. Good luck

Roof rails inserts

Good luck. I had to sand down mine to attach the roof bars and make it fit nicely- used a rasp on the infills.
It's not an intuitive fit, but follow instructions slowly and it all comes together- with leftover parts...really hope they are for different cars...nothing come off so far and the annex works a treat now it's attached to the roof bars

Did you buy yours from Amayama? or are you talking about the way they attach to pro racks?

cheers

Re:

Got my Whispbars from Supacrap.
It was the infills I had to file down to attach them with the supplied fitting.
I am not very adept, so was surprised I managed it, then stressed about the number of "leftovers" when finished.
But they are still there and even holding up my annex. emoticon

Re: Re:

I do need to ask.

Wen you are carrying the bars, do you factor in the added wind resistence into fuel usage?

Other question: Does it feel better when the bars are not on?
