New to X-Trail - seeking advice. Hi,
I need to replace my Ford Focus with something more able to cope with the dirt roads I occasionally encounter on my travels – I’ve settled on a used X-Trail as suiting my needs. I’m looking specifically for a manual Ti (I like all the bells’n’whistles) and have up to AUD 20k to spend. I would appreciate some advice on the following points: -
1. I’ve decided that I’ll buy from a local dealer (Canberra) as that gives me some assurance in terms of warranty and consistent maintenance (my days of DIY car maintenance are long gone). That said, am I being needlessly restrictive? The car I want is available now if I’m prepared to buy from further afield.
2. I’ve been told by work colleagues that the upcoming year end, in conjunction with the significant 2014 X-Trail body changes, will generate a flood of older X-Trails onto the market. Any truth in that reasoning?
I’d appreciate any advice.
