T32 - some issues!

Hi,

Well excitedly I collected my new T32 2 weeks ago. The day after I got it the "infotainment" lost its volume and did so 5 times after that for the first week. I noticed a knockingclicking noise when turning left and reported it back to the dealer prior to the 1000K service. The dealer kept the car all day and stated they can replicate the issue and I had to drop it back last friday for them to continue with the investigation and the infotainment system as yet has to be resolved. I was asked to go into the dealer on Saturday to discuss the loan car use and how much longer they need my car to resolve everything. I am to say the least a little disappointed at this stage , with the car doing less than 1000K from new and issues mentioned (plus some chrome trim pealing issues), I do not know how long it will be before I get the car back and frankly "lemon" is starting to come to mind, which is something I thought I would never have to say about the Exy, with this one being my third. Anyone else had any issues?

Re:

I had the entertainment/navigation unit lose all ability to output sound twice........ both times I think were caused by problems synching with my phone....... e.g. phone was in the process of re-booting when I entered the car, and once when my phone was in a frozen state when I started up the car.

To get it working again, I had to cut power, get out, lock the car, wait for the auto lights to extinguish, ensure that my phone is up and running, unlock, get back into the vehicle, before starting up again.

Seems like the problem also exists for the American Rogue.

Hi all,

Well the story thus far........I have got the car back and all is well! the tapping sound when turning left turned out to be nothing more than a pipe vibrating against something or other! the dealer had it for five days and it took some locating the source but they did say it was incorrectly installed at factory! so I don't feel so bad about it now!!! the audio thing is a software issue that may very well turn into a replacement unit or software upgrade. Lemon is no longer in mind and frankly having owned a two before this one and no problems my faith is restored. emoticon
Just one more thing though, does anyone out there know where I can get a trunk/cargo liner for the T32? any help much appreciated!

OK, my car had its 1,000klm first service today and yep, drove off, no radio, no phone connection, no anything. Did as you suggested and everything is magically back working again. Thanks for that info, it saved me the hassle of going back to the dealer. emoticon

I have a T31 but regarding the radio and Bluetooth - occasionally I have to disconnect the battery negative lead for about 1 - 2 seconds (no more or other things like clocks reset) and the radio works again.

The cause is if I leave my phone in my pocket then get out of the car with the motor running and walk away eg to open garage door (out of Bluetooth range ) then back again, the Bluetooth losing signal somehow "Locks up" the radio which is then silent even after switching car off completely and then back on.

It's probably a software problem. Hope they fix the bug soon.

Hey T32

I'm guessing the same thing and also concerned of what will happen to the services ie Bluetooth stream, navigation, call answering etc

Here is what's on the nissan connect app
