Some nice pics there, sure is a contrast after just looking at Michaels outback photos, I have always been partial to colder weather.

The trip, was perfect! I slept in the wood, snow, next to the fire place. The temperatures ware not so bad, avrage -2 - -5C. Only iin one night I had -10C. Unfortuanetly I haven't seen the Northen Lights, because of the foggy weather. Maybe next time.

OMG
My kids and grandchildren are in CPH.
I am the Grampingmother- camping grandmother- kids are too young to do this trip yet (2yrs 5yrs).

Northern lights so a goal. Thought they would need to be around 10.
I don't like the cold....but if it's going to be cold then snow is pretty.

Won't have my Exy there, but truely a majestic trip- please keep posting

Re:

Don't be a scared of the cold emoticon there are allways some other ways to sleep, not all the time in the forest emoticon for example in Taivalkoski I slept in small B&B named Ruska, very nice conditions, sauna, and a ski slope in about 5km from hotel + you can rent a snowmobile and spend some time driving at frozen lakes emoticon

At Nordkapp, I spent two days. The air there is very dry, and all the time it's windy. No trees, only ice, snow and that beautifull, strong wind. Prefect ! Hollidays of my life emoticon
