Re:
Sorry for the silly question Mark, but why did you buy them without the brackets?

Re:
OK, so these steps were fitted on a Pathfinder previously? How do you know they will fit the exy even if you do source the brackets? Or is the only change between the side steps for the Pathie and Exy the size and shape of the brackets?
Which side steps are these, the Kingsley Integra ones?

Re:
I'm sure if someone here could just post up a photo of the side step mounting brackets on their xtrail, then Marco could probably go from there. I'd have already posted up what you need if I had side steps, mate. Good luck with it.

Re:
Different brackets are used for different types of side steps for the exy, hence the question as to what type/brand of side steps are they.
Saying they're "universal" doesn't help us much in terms of information, as I know for a fact that only xtrail specific side steps (both factory and after-market) can be mounted on the xtrail and not the "universal" ones.

I'll get a photo up shortly. They are also the right length when offered up to the car.
Cheers
That'll be the best thing to do. Being the right length means very little, as you must make sure the mounting points on the side steps line-up with the intended mounting point in the chassis under the car.
