oil low indicator flashing after oil and filter change t31 diesel

Hey all,

After a oil and filter change on a T31 diesel, do I need to reset the oil level indicator?

At the minute the level indicator is flashing and showing as empty but the dip stick is showing full....... do I need to reset the indicator somehow?

Or

Is there something I have done wrong? would it flash n show low oil if it was over full etc etc?

Cheers

Mine used to do it after every service. Flash Oil Lo. Just let it sit somewhere flat overnight and it will sort itself out.

Re:

Normally if the car is parked on a steep angle it would read oil low as well.
Must take a while for the sensor to wake up.
