Ebay Roof carrier Basket

Hello all,

I am moving back to Melbourne. I was going to get a trailer but am having issues finding one for sale within 1000km from my home. I am curious about these ebay roof carriers ---->

Image

Will this fit? Anyone tried one?

Thanks
Will

Admin Edit: Photo of the product added. Please do not post eBay links to products you are enquiring about, as these links go dead after the auction finishes. Describe the product and/or post a photo of it instead. Thanks.

Re:

Providing you have roof racks, yes it will fit.
Not very much load capacity at only 50kg which tells me it's pretty flimsy in material.

Re:

I read somewhere that the factory rails can only hold 70kg?

It comes with the cross bars pictured. However, after looking at them and how they attach, was concerned that it would require roof racks that had the gap between the roof and the bar.

Thanks

Repco are currently selling similar - similar because the fitting kits are different emoticon - for $69...part # GUWLB1. Though I've just looked on their site, and they're now only showing a new catalouge starting from 12/12/13...2 days left

Bought one Wednesday (last day of the sale) .... haven't fitted it yet, but it seems to be reasonably good quality. Couldn't pass it up at that price !

Excellent Dave emoticon
I've done a few camps since getting mine ('round the same time as I posted about it) - the Repco one,
It's carried a quite a few loads of fire wood - 2-3 rows high, and still no sign of bending/sagging, so I'm very happy with the 'cheap n nasty' knock-off emoticon
