Re:
Looks like a great trip and Stockton is always fun when the Exy is cooperating nicely. Sorry to hear about the damage Michael, but that's part of the game I guess.
Don't forget to update the State Challenge Tally with all the trips you guys are doing

Re: Stockton and Medowie State Forest
Konazz, I know the feeling when you go over a ridge on the sand that little bit to quickly and find the front end acts like a dozen bucket and creates a nice divot in the sand upon landing... I did the same thing on Fraser not too long ago and have also bent my intercooler.. I haven't had the opportunity to replace it yet though, it's on my list to do this month.. This little accident is easy to do when you get a bit too much confidence on the sand.
Quick Q, where did you get the intercooler from? did you get it form eBay? I've seen a few on there and they claim to be genuine for $350 with free delivery... Needs more investigation... Was there any difficulties is the install? looked pretty straight forward..
Also as an aside, and I'm aware this isn't the right place for the topic and it has probably been mentioned already, but a quick yes / no would be great... your 235/70 R16 ATs... Did you get lots of scrubbing on the sand??
Cheers, Jeremy

Re:
Hey Jeremy
I got the intercooler from Frank's Spares (they're in Sydney and Canberra), they deal with second hand stuff - the actual intercooler came from a partner wrecker in Tasmania.
The intercooler is a behr intercooler - so if that ebay ad is to believed, then yes its legit. Personally, I'd go with the ebay one, as I found that the l-brackets on the 2nd hand one were a bit bent and a fair bit of oil in it.
To replace the intercooler, you'll need to:
take nudge bar off
take bumper bar off
undo all hoses
Leave yourself a few hours for the first time
Where are you based?

Re:
I'm based in Brisbane. Yes, the eBay ad is a behr intercooler.. Seems legit. They offer a full refund excluding the cost of postage.
Is the intercooler an air to air intercooler? it's not going to drop a bunch of fluid all over the garage floor when I undo the hoses? Any help would be great..

Re: Stockton and Medowie State Forest
The intercooler is just air but expect a few drops of oil as oil tends to get blown through the intake system.
