New Nissan Recall - Throttle Sensor problem?

It seems Nissan is recalling some 990,000 Nissan vehicles worldwide for an "Acellerator sensor problem". And X-Trails are included.

Article relating to it is HERE.

I have trolled through the Nissan website and can't find any more details on it. Jalal, heard anything more?

Hi Mark,

I haven't come across this recall yet and it is not yet listed on the Government Recall register, so let's see if they will announce it locally and how many cars will be impacted.

Yes, it appears that the article in the Canberra Times changed during the day too. So it seems all is well for we X-Trailers.

Mine was on recall list on Nissan representative so I did it past week. Took around 45 minutes but the guys didn't know more details about the problem. Just "motor stall".
