T30 Exhaust Question

Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if a full exhaust system for a Nissan Sentra would fit our X Trails? I know that most of the engine components and even headers will fit our cars but wasn't sure about a full system.
If anyone can give me some info or point me in the right direction that would be fantastic.

The only reason I am looking away from the Hi-Tech System is cost as I'm an apprentice and cash is very tight for me.

Thanks, Simon

Hi Simon,

Not sure what you are trying to do and how you saw the benefit of using the factory Sentra exhaust system in an X-Trail?

The catalytic converter restriction and being ceramic core in the Sentra factory exhaust system would still be there and the limitation in the size of the exhaust pipes would still be there as well. What is left? the bulky muffler at the back which is unique to the T30 xtrail and the Sentra has a smaller one.

In reality I believe, only the headers for the Sentra suit the T30, as the layout of the rest of the full exhaust system is quite different being a completely different size car.

Re:

Hi Guys, just want to confirm that a Sentra (02-06) manifold/catalytic converter would fit my t30?

I only have the one cat in the headers. It's a 2003 with a 2004 motor. I want to replace the old manicat with a new one I get from the states for a good price.

Thanks!
