Hi all, very keen on this trip. First off road trip for the exy can't wait to see how it goes.

Will be leaving Sunday morning from Penrith, if anyone else is leaving from Sydney Sunday morning we can arrange a convoy!

Greatly appreciated Tony! I have completed the trip a few times in the old hilux but of course I did do the harder trails which I'm sure the exy may have a few issues with!

I did get rid of all my old recovery gear and looking at buying new, may be able to get some before the trip but if not has anyone have equipment? Don't think we will need it but with the rain we are having it never hurts to be prepared!

G'day Michael and others,

Count me in.

I'm really excited. I'm gonna do the camping on Saturday night at Boyd River. Will aim to leave Sydney around lunch time.

This is gonna be great as it will be little Oliver's first camping trip. For the extra pair hands, I'm gonna bring along his poppy to help out. Should be great.

Let me know what channel CB you are on Michael.

Ok may be able to convince the wife to stay at home with the younger kids and also partake in the camping festivities! Would then be able to cruise up on the Saturday with Griz and any others from Sydney.

We'll be fine Michael.

Wet wipes works wonders !!!

Nah we're pretty well sorted. Just gotta sort through a few things and it will all be good.

Might need to revise the directions from the M4 to Boyd River though. What time are you planning on arriving at the campground ?
