Greetings

Hi all,

2008 Diamond Black TS X Trail 6 speed manual.

Modified with cargo barrier, roof bars and a tow ball.

Installed the cargo barrier to keep the dog in the back, found out he could wriggle through when he climbed out the driver side window and clawed the drivers car door from top to bottom on the way down.

Discovered the forum when googling about my warped rotors.

Have to say that it is my only complaint about the X Trail, sub-standard(?) rotors in the front.

Live down the southern end of the southern island, Hobart, Tasmania

Derek

Hi Derek, welcome to the forum.
Yes the rotors are really weak and warp easily.

I've just ordered the DBA T2 slotted rotors and bendix 4wd pads from my local he agreed to price match as close as he could to online quotes which was nice.

Can't wait to install them and find out once and for all if it is my "driving style" as suggested by the service manager at the dealer emoticon

Re:

Good stuff Derek, please make sure you share your findings in an existing "T31 brake replacement" thread, as this section of the forum is reserved for introductions only.
