Any chance of discount buying through the forum?
I can certainly ask the seller if he's interested in making a discount bulk buy offer for us, but that would only work if at least 10 members ordered it at the same time.
I did find the same camera a bit cheaper if you buy it from overseas, but the local support and the ability to pick it up in person (in Sydney) was worth the extra for me personally.

Re:
Hi Guys,
The seller offerred me a discounted price of $115.50 which includes the camera and a 32GB micro-SD card and $6.50 postage within Australia. This price is only available for an order of 10 sets.
As I said, you can find it selling cheaper in China and Hong Kong if you're prepared to wait for it to arrive from overseas.

Re:
Rob,
I found this camera selling for $39.99 from China on eBay and the one with the GPS for $91.75, so the difference in the price offer is huge and had I known about it, I would have bought it from overseas for sure. At that price it is worth taking the risk I reckon.
eBay seller name is: niximtech
Check it out.

Re: Re:
Interesting...
Have you found any radio/ emf interference from that new unit?
I ask this as there is some previous on other forums indicating radio interference from camera transformers (12v to 5v?) which adversely effect radio reception and may inject undesirable voltage fluctuations into the vehicles 12v system.
If everything works perfectly for you in the (very sensitive) X Trail, then it should also work for everyone
Had to edit that. I committed the cardinal sin of using "a"ffect instead of "e"ffect. (now fixed)
Two different words with two different meanings. Their misuse is my pet hate.
Mea maxima culpa.

Re:
I haven't noticed anything different and everything seems to be working fine. I also used it in the Merc without any problems or radio interference, so I guess it depends on the brand.
