Re:
I don't think the Provent is doing anything for you as this sounds to be the rear crank seal.
They don't have a front one.
What I would do immediately is pressure clean or degrease the entire engine, top and bottom, go for a 10km drive and then have a look at where the oil is dripping from.
Have you checked the oil level in the engine?
Let us know how you go.

Re:
Might be a silly question but have you drained the oil from the Provent?
They do fill up quickly with oil if the engine is worked hard and if you forget to drain it, then the overflow of oil could be coming from your Provent.

Re:
First of all you need to make an introduction post in the introduction section of the forum.
There is nothing wrong with the diesel engine.
Owners find it strange how oil ends up splattered on the air filter and think there is a problem with the engine.
There have been no reported blown engines which relate to this issue and have been no recalls from Nissan.
Diesel owners may argue against this point but their engines are still running and still reporting good fuel figures.
I honestly think that they are not built for Australian conditions being a Renault engine.

Re: Oil on the air filter and Oil Separator Leaks (T31 Diesel)
I guess in theory if you let the filter get completely clogged it could cause a back up of pressure but I dare say the hose would likely pop off before pressure built up enough to blow a seal. Maybe that's why the hose out of the engine into the provent is not clamped on at the engine end.
