Fitted the weather strip on the inner edge of the roof rails and it solved the problem and doesn't look too bad. Ended-up with heaps of it as extra, so am gonna use it to cushion the number plate on the tailgate that keeps rattling emoticon

Will post pics of it as soon as it stops raining and will also take a pic of the product packaging as well so you know what to look for.

I just park on the gradient near the end of my driveway and blast water along both sides of each roof rail. Be sure to park with the nose up though or else all that debris will end up down below the windscreen wipers.

be careful about sealing the edges...those things are meant to drain...u wouldnt want to end up trapping water in there either....it gets in through the caps....
