Hello there, First Nissan - OK'ishly happy..
Hey Guys,
hope all is well,
I just bought a T31 X-trail, Petrol, CVT, Ti
She's a 2008 model, and almost looks new after a bit of my special TLC (Polish / wax / and my fiddly nature of wanting all to be perfect).
I've come from owning 2 Subaru Liberty's both Turbo, and made the jump to an X-trail.
This CVT business is my worst nightmare, and from all the threads I'm reading, it supports my theory.
It sounds like a busted wheel bearing, but it's my gearbox, makes a chattering sound on free-roll, and goes completely quiet and functions normal on throttle!.
It's definitely put a damper on my first Nissan experience.
