This is my first post in years,
The LED strips are the same blue as you blue park lights, my x-trail has LED white light bulbs and they make the blue lens in the x-trail look more blue. When Iwas pulled over a few years ago beacause of the blue light in NSW (this means illegal in NSW to me)
I removed my globe with parkers still on to show that the globe was white and the lens of the veh was blue the officer said he will have to add this veh to his list the other veh was a Honda Odyssey

Tony, they most probably have DRL dimmers fitted, so the intensity/brightness of the LEDs is reduced when the main headlights are turned-on. That's legal and within ADR.
