Re:
Won't be plug and play and a modiciation to the exhaust pipes will be required, but that's not the only thing you need to be concerned about. You also need to be worried about the noise level of this muffler and if the noise level will be ADR and EPA compliant.

Re:
Dunno mate, grab the yellow pages and lock-up a local muffler shop who you can call and discuss this with.
I won't buy something that I don't know where it came from and what has inside it. If it's just a hallow muffler, then it's a piece of junk as far as I'm concerned.

Re:
I don't know everything, but you can ask the seller the following:
* Which car was this taken off from?
* Where was it manufactured?
* What was the noise level like when fitted to a car?
* What has the muffler got inside it? (if he knows)
The price is not really a bargain by the way, but it depends what you want to achieve from this modification....just looks?

Re: will this fit my 03 Ti?
Jalalski,
this is his response
- This is fom T30 Xtrail Japan,
- Muffler manufactoring from Nismo Japan, the unique tunning shop
- Sport muffler, noise louder than your factory style.
- Sport design, for low rpm.
I called up a muffler fitter today, I am just waiting back for a quote on fitting.
what do you think?
I have seen way cheaper exhausts on ebay, so I am not sure.
I want it for a bit more 'oomph' and a nicer look and a better sound.
please throw me your feedback

Re:
OK,
First of all, am not sure if this is a Genuine Nismo muffler or not, as the Nismo muffler for the x-trail is the one mounted sideways and is shown HERE.
This muffler looks like a custom job with a Nismo muffler tip welded onto it.
You also need to see it mounted on an xtrail, so refer to the pics of it HERE
It looks like a monster of a muffler and hangs even lower than the factory one.
Not sure about how much oomph yopu gonna get out of this tin but it will sound louder than the factory one for sure!

Re:
No worries mate, it pays to do some homework before a purchase like that and you have all the time in the world to do it and plenty of resources to refer to as well
Check the Exhaust Upgrades section of our forum and use some of the threads already in place to ask about exhaust modifications (and there are plenty of them for the T30 exy)
