Hello from WA

Hello everyone, we have owned our 2007 X-Trail ST-S since new and I have been visiting this forum on and off for the past couple of years. I have always been very impressed by how helpful everyone is, I think I may have joined a while back (senility is knocking on the door already) but I couldn't remember my username & password, since the warranty has expired I am tackling more of the smaller jobs myself so I decided to join again.

I live in W.A. and we have covered just over 85,000Km of almost worry free motoring, unfortunately the tally stands like this:

2XFront Wheel Bearings
1XFuel Sender
2XFront Disc Rotors
1XDemister/Air Conditioner Fan resistor board
1XRear (hatch) door latch release cable

Other than that the Exxy has been a very capable family hack, it gets used to collect firewood, it has towed a car trailer fully loaded with car and other junk up the Darling range and survived an encounter with our family cat although the interior looks a little worse for wear now. The usual bumps and scrapes of family life, but it has taken care of us.

Thanks in advance, I'm sure I will be very grateful for all the information that is already availble and hopefully I can also contribute.

Hi Lee and welcome to the forum!

If you haven't already done so; could you please click the flashing button, up the top of the page, which says Vote for our forum.;

After you do this, could you drop into the announcements section, (vote for our site) & let everyone know how we are going in the position race.

If everyone votes for the forum each day, we can climb up the listing, & show everyone that the X-Trail does rock the world.

Regards Scot

Re: Hello from WA

Thanks for the warm welcome emoticon
The only outstanding job from the Exxy's list of injuries Cooch t31 is the fan resistor board. Which thanks to this forum was relatively easy to diagnose, now I've just got to figure out how to get to it??? The price for a replacement from Nissan is $74.00 (and apparently Magnas also suffer the same problem according to the spare parts guy), but when I get it out I might check with Jaycar first.

Cheers

Lee
