G'day Neel

I had the Kings put into my exy before we did our central Aust trip a couple years ago. With Kings, the front is lower than the rear, which was ideal for us as we were towing a fairly heavy camper trailer.

However, now I want to even the vehicle up, as I find that the slightly lower front tends to hit & dig into soft sand and I'm sick of bellying out in the deep ruts (so too would Dave & Jamie be, as they often are around to help dig me out! emoticon )

Re: T31 Suspension Lift & Air Bag assist

Thanks for response guys, from what I can understand the Kings springs are lower at the front, and since I want to to do sand driving, I should go for the Pedders springs.

I did some measurements of my car at the moment, to compare with yours Scot,
and the fronts are 665, but the rear is at 700, which is probably why the guy at Pedders reckons, the lift wouldn't not do much for the car. My tyre pressures are at 28psi, and they are the standard 16" T31 tyres.

As from the report mine was 665 at rear and 660 at front so I can not understand why yours is at 700 already at rear unless you have something fitted already or I have missed something!

My measurements were similar to Scots, there must be some poly bags under there or something.

Lol all good emoticon

So the 35mm lift is more than adequate for the T31 I feel.

Re: T31 Suspension Lift & AirBag Asst

Thanks for all the help, I just got the Exy back from Pedders, lift done. (King Springs)

The car measures 700mm at the back, and 685mm at the front. As mentioned earlier with the King Springs the front is at least 15-20mm lower. I was hoping for a higher, but the guy at Pedders reckoned that with the Pedders springs it would have been 685mm all round.
They did do a very efficient and quick job.

I am hoping to take it the beach this Saturday, to give it a nice run.

Cheers

Re: T31 Suspension Lift & AirBag Asst

Hi Guys

I tested the Exy with the lift kit on some soft sand at Fisheries Bay, SA last weekend, she drove very nicely in "4wdAuto" ESP Off, tyres at 18PSI. The total drive time was around 25minutes, no problems. Image

Cheers

Re:

I'm curious as to where you guys are measuring as Phillipa's Exy is 755mm from ground to top of wheel arch at the front and 760mm at the rear and it hasn't had a lift apart from oversize tyres...
