Re: **FREE** Electronic Service Manual** ALL T31 Models**
Hi All,
Access to download a free copy of the T31 X-Trail ESM has now been restricted to Full Members of our forum only. This is due to some people taking advantage of the free download to make personal gains by selling it on eBay after downloading it from our forum!
The free copy of the ESM and the download link have now been moved to the Discounts Section of the forum the access to which is restricted to registered Full Members only.

Re: **FREE** Electronic Service Manual** ALL T31 Models**
Hi Jalal
As you are now stepping up to the Series 3, is there any way we can negotiate a Series 3 Electronic Service Manual. Although it is still referred to as a T31, the number of differences between the Series 2 and Series 3 is immense. How did you obtain the older manuals, is a donation the way to go.
Regards
John

Re:
Hi John,
Am looking for it as well but I can't find it as yet and since the changes made to the Series 3 and 4 are only cosmetic (meaning no engine or mechanical component changes) I reckon it'll be quite a while before we see a service manual dedicated for the Series 3 and 4. I will keep looking thought.
The older manuals just fell into my lap from somewhere LOL

Re:
Hi
Just downloaded the manual fine, thanks.
I have saved it on my laptop hard drive and all the folders open up fine, but when you go into the Index and get the little pointy hand, should that then open up that section of the manual, or does that just tell you which folder you have to find for that bit and then you open it up separately?
Cheers

Re: Re:
I found that if I opened the html files with Mozilla I wouldn't get anything displayed on the RHS, yet when opened with IE everything displayed fine...?

Re:
I can only get it working with Firefox and it doesn't open in IE8 at all
Regarding the question of the Index, once you're in and you have the Quick Reference Index displayed, on the left side of the screen there are small arrows against each section, when you click on the small arrow it should show you the content of each section. On the right side of the screen you can navigate to the subject/topic directly using the pointy hand.
